This copper chopper Shovelhead doesn't exactly scream "subtle" but I do like its style. Green Devil Choppers created this shiny, coppered-out 1969 Flatside Shovel, based around that motor and a custom frame by Spartan Frameworks with springer frontend. Here's what they have to say about it:
"Old school chopper design. Custom 6" up 4" out frame with 44 degree rake from George at Spartan Frameworks. Copper tins by Kyle Yocum at Yocum's Rod Shop. Yes, they are real copper and NOT copper plated! We even custom made the headlights and tail lights out of vintage 1940's microphones.
We were asked to participate in an Invite Only Class at the 2015 Ray Price Motorsports EXPO and this build was the result. Might be our favorite bike build yet!"
Green Devil Choppers has some other cool bike projects in the works right now. We'll be running 'em as they develop, here at Street Chopper!
